  Tug Brock, Milford, Ohio, is the Director for UMTR South. 2020 marks his 25th year of drag racing. He is a previous Quick Stick points champ and can be seen in his BBC powered 78 Chevy Malibu with a G-force GF5R transmission and Ram clutch or his 96 Chevy Beretta with a BES built 440 SBC, with a G-force GF2000 transmission and Ram clutch. His sponsors are Auto Works Towing Inc, BES Racing Engines, Jerry’s Transmissions and the Chassis Doctor.

 Kevin Courtney, Madison, Indiana, races this 1986 Ford Mustang GT in both Quick Stick and Street Stick.  His Mustang has a 302" FOrd for power and a Tremec TKO500 transmission with a Ram clutch.

  Michael Brewer of New Carlisle, Ohio races this 1968 Plymouth GTX in Quick Stick.  This GTX is powered by a very strong 493 cubic inch Mopar with a Brewer Performance A833 transmission and a McLeod clutch.

    Ken Herbert, Bright, Indiana, owns both of these beautiful machines in Quick Stick. The 70½ Ford Falcon is powered by a 514” BBF with a G-force GF5R transmission and a McLeod clutch. The car, having been bought new by Ken’s Father Wally, has been raced since it was new. The Jaguar is a real 2005 XKR. It has a 638” BBF under the hood with a Boninfante clutch and a G-force GF2000 transmission. Ken is the owner of Ken Herbert Plumbing in Cincinnati.

    Jay Grieshop, West Harrison, Indiana, races Quick Stick in his beautiful 1991 Ford Mustang GT. Jay, “The Chassis Doctor” built this car from the ground up and the attention to detail is nothing short of amazing.   Dick Miller, Springfield, Ohio. can’t be missed in his stunning 1964 Chevy Corvette. Dick has 50 years of drag racing under his belt and his fully street-able 10-second Vette can be seen racing in both Quick Stick and Street Stick. The Corvette is powered by a 427 SBC with a G-Force 101A transmission and a McLeod clutch.

  Deron Prewitt Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio, races his 1968 Dodge Super Bee in Street Stick. One of the top contenders at each event, the Super Bee is Mopar powered with a 440 and has an A-833 transmission and a McLeod clutch. This year marks Deron’s 38th year drag racing!

Tony has been turning on win lights at the drags for over 30 years and has won several Quick Stick championships with the UMTR. His 9-second Nova is powered by a 400 SBC, a G-force transmission and a Rob Youngblood prepped McLeod clutch.

 Craig Newport, Bardstown, Kentucky, can be seen beating up Street Stick is his beautiful 1984 Ford Mustang. With 5.0 Coyote power, a Tremec TKO600 transmission and a SPEC Stage III clutch it’s not only capable of making low 10-second passes but its fully streetable! Craig’s sponsors are Brian Tooley Racing, Cambo Fabrication and Tin Soldiers Racecars.

 Dave Stehlin, Harrison, Ohio,  races this 1979 Chevy Camaro, aka “The Red Rocket” in Quick Stick. Disguised as a street car, this sleeper will blast a low 9-second pass effortlessly. Its powered by a BES built 415 SBC with a Liberty transmission and a Boninfante clutch. Dave was the director for UMTR south for 12 years, stepping down in 2020 to enjoy racing and focus on even more UMTR Championships. Dave owns Stehlin’s Remodeling in Harrison.
